• 4 A Level Subjects studied - At least six GCSEs at grade 9-7 required 

• 3 A Level Subjects studied and an additional learning course - At least five GCSEs grades 9-4 required 

Students must meet entrance requirements for additional learning courses as well.

• 3 A Level Subjects studied or 3 BTEC - At least five GCSEs grades 9-4 required

Students study 3 A Level or 3 Level 3 BTEC qualifications. One of these may be a double award)

• Subjects studied are 2 BTECs and 1 A Level or 2 A Levels and 1 BTEC - At least five GCSEs grades 9-4 required.

Students study 2 separate Level 3 BTEC qualifications and 1 A Level Subject or 2 A Levels and 1 BTEC Qualification

• T Level Course studied - At least four GCSEs grades 9-4 required 

Students study the T Level course only which is equivalent to three Level 3 courses.  For T Level Health students MUST have GCSE English Language OR GCSE Maths AND GCSE Science at Grade 4, 4 4 or higher.  Only one resit is allowed due to workload.

• Level 2 BTEC and GCSE Resit studied - Fewer than five GCSEs grades 9-4 required 

Students follow the Level 2 Transition Course including L2 Hospitality, HPQ, resit GCSE Maths or English if they have not achieved a grade 4 in both.  Students will also engage in a work placement.

Grade 5 in GCSE Fine Art, Textiles, Product Design or another creative subject including Photography, Graphic Communication, Art History or 3D Design. Students who have not studied any of the above creative subjects at GCSE will need to submit a substantial portfolio to a minimum of a Grade 5 standard.

Either Grades 6,6 in GCSE Combined Science OR Grade 6 in GCSE Biology. 

All students must also have achieved a minimum of a GCSE Grade 6 in Mathematics.

Grade 6 in GCSE Business Studies if studied.

If GCSE Business Studies has not been studied, students must have achieved at least a Grade 5 in English Language or English Literature and a Grade 5 in Mathematics.

All students must have achieved a minimum of a GCSE Grade 4 in English Language OR English Literature AND Grade 4 in GCSE Maths. 

Either Grades 6,6 in GCSE Combined Science OR Grade 6 in GCSE Chemistry. 

All students must also have achieved a minimum of a GCSE Grade 6 in Mathematics.

Grade 7 in GCSE Computer Science if studied, and Grade 7 in GCSE Mathematics.

If GCSE Computer Science has not been studied, a Grade 7 in GCSE Mathematics is required, alongside strong evidence of aptitude and interest in Computing (to be reviewed by the department).

All students must have achieved a minimum of a Grade 5 in English Language or English Literature

Grade 6 in GCSE Drama 

All students must have achieved a minimum of a Grade 5 in English Language or English Literature.

Grade 6 in GCSE English Language.

Grade 6 in GCSE English Literature. 

Grade 6 in GCSE French. 

Grade 8 in Maths GCSE

Grade 6 in GCSE Geography if studied.

If GCSE Geography has not been studied, students must have achieved a Grade 6 in English Language or Literature.

GCSE Grade 4 in English Language OR English Literature.

Grade 4 in GCSE Maths or GCSE English Language. 

All students must also have achieved a Grade 4 in GCSE Biology or 4,4 in GCSE Combined Science. 

Grade 6 in GCSE History if studied

If History has not been studied at GCSE, the entry requirement can be met in an equivalent subject e.g. Humanities

Grade 7 in GCSE Mathematics.

Grade 6 in GCSE Media Studies if studied.

If GCSE Media Studies has not been studied, students must have achieved a Grade 6 in English Literature or a Grade 5 in English Language

Grade 5 in GCSE Music. Students need to be proficient on at least one instrument to Grade 5.

Grade 6 in GCSE PE if taken AND a GCSE Grade 5 in Biology OR 5,5  in Combined Science. 

Students need to be actively engaged in sporting performance or coaching inside or outside of school.

All students must also have achieved a minimum of a GCSE Grade 5 in English Language

Either Grades 6,6 in GCSE Combined Science OR Grade 6 in GCSE Physics.

All students must also have achieved a minimum of a GCSE Grade 6 in Mathematics.

Grade 5 in GCSE Design and Technology/3D Design

Grade 6 in GCSE English Language OR English Literature OR GCSE Grade 6 in Religious Studies OR History.

Grade 5,5  in GCSE Combined Science OR Grade 5 in GCSE Biology.

GCSE Grade 5 in English Language OR English Literature & GCSE Grade 5 in Mathematics.

Grade 6 in GCSE Religious Studies if studied.

If GCSE Religious Studies has not been studied, students must have achieved at least a Grade 6 in History or English Language or English Literature.

Grade 6 in GCSE Sociology if studied.

If GCSE Sociology has not been studied, students must have achieved at least a Grade 6 in English Language, English Literature, Religious Studies, or History.

Grade 6 in GCSE Spanish

Grade 5 in GCSE Textiles or Art if taken. Students who have not studied Textiles at GCSE will need to submit a portfolio to a minimum of a Grade 5 standard.

7 GCSE grades at grade 6 and above and must include English Language or Literature

Students will need to either have an interest in sports leadership OR be actively engaged in sporting performance, officiating or coaching inside or outside of school.

Students study either French or Spanish towards a professional accreditation first at Level 2 in Year 12, followed by Level 3 over the remainder of Year 12 and Year 13.  Students will need to have a Standard GCSE pass of 4 and above in the GCSE equivalent.
